Mother's Day Gift 2026
Hello, my lovely mommy,
Happy Mother’s Day! Today, just like every day, I am so grateful to have you in my life. I truly believe that being your son is the greatest honour I will ever have, even if one day I become “Honourable Grayson", "Dr Grayson", or anything else.
I love you to the moon and back, and this Mother’s Day, I want you to be proud of yourself. I’m now a young adult, standing at the crossroads between childhood and adulthood. Soon I’ll have my own family and, hopefully, children who look up to me (the same way I do to you). From this new vantage point, I realise that, even though it may feel like a lifetime ago, you were young once too. You were once a little girl, and I want you to know that she should be incredibly proud of the woman you’ve become.
You have grown into a strong, beautiful woman who, even in the most challenging times, has persevered and come out stronger. You’ve raised two young boys, showering us with love and standing by us in every moment of our lives. You have become our whole world.
When you look back on your life so far, I hope you feel only pride and warmth. Not every little girl grows up to become a woman of 46 years with such grace and strength, and not every person with children becomes a mother as loving as you. You’re living the life that many women and young girls dream of.
This Mother’s Day, I’m not only celebrating the Ritha you are today. I’m celebrating the Ritha of the 1980s, the 1990s, and the early 2000s—the versions of you who worked, learned, grew, and blossomed into the incredible woman I’m so grateful to call my mother.
I am proud of you, and I am eternally grateful to be your son. I hope you feel deep pride in the person you’ve worked so hard to become.
I love you, Mom, now and always. Your lovely sonshine and firstborn, Grayson Jr
